Z latest on crime fighting IN BRIEF Free rugby shuttles FRee shuttles will again be operating for footy fans wanting to see the super Rugby champion Chiefs play at Waikato stadium this season. their super Rugby campaign kicked off with a win against the Crusaders, and this saturday (march 1) will be the first home game against the Highlanders. the Chiefs are scheduled to play six games at Wai- kato stadium during the competition. avid rugby fans will also be able to hop on board the free shuttles to the stadium for the all Blacks match against england on saturday, June 21, as well as the Warriors versus Bulldogs NRL game on sunday, may 18. Last year the rugby shuttles transported more than 3200 people from the Hood St bus stop and back again. the buses run for an hour before each game, and leave from Hood St (outside the Knox St carpark) every 15 minutes and will pick up people who signal them while waiting at any official bus stop en route. Buses depart directly after the final whistle from Tris- tram st, near the mill st intersection. they travel back to the CBD via anglesea, alexandra, Knox and Victoria streets.
