A poll of current and potential consumers of the
Ranginui Water Supply, to decide on the propos-
al to close the Ranginui Water Treatment Plant
and Scheme as a human drinking water supply
will be held on the following basis:
• The poll will be conducted by postal voting
• Voting will open on Thursday, June 9, 2016
• Voting will close on election day at 12 noon on
Friday, July 1, 2016
• The poll will use the First Past the Post
The poll result will be binding. Council will use the
final poll result to determine whether to continue
with formal closure action. It should be noted that
even if a positive response to the referendum is
obtained, water will continue to be supplied for
farm stock and other agricultural purposes.
Residents living within the Ranginui Water Sup-
ply area who are not listed on the final electoral
roll for this poll can enrol at any NZ Post Shop up
to 4pm on Thursday, June 30, 2016.
Any persons paying rates on land within the
Ranginui Water Supply area who live outside
that area and who are not listed on the final elec-
toral roll for this poll can enrol as ratepayer elec-
tors at Otorohanga District Council office up to
4pm on Thursday, June 30, 2016.
Enrolment and special voting facilities will be
available during normal office hours at the Oto-
rohanga District Council office, 17 Maniapoto St,
Otorohanga, from 8am on Thursday 9 June 2016
until 12 noon on Friday, July 1, 2016.

AW & BL MUDALIAR & CO LTD, 57 Moa Street, Piopio has made
application to the District Licensing Committee at Waitomo
District Council, Te Kuiti for the issue of an off licence in respect
of the premises situated at 57 Moa Street, Piopio known as
Piopio Liquor. The general nature of the business conducted
(or to be conducted) under the licence is bottle store. The days
on which and the hours during which alcohol is (or is intended
to be) sold under the licence are Monday to Sunday 10am
to 9pm. The application may be inspected during ordinary
office hours at the office of the Waitomo District Licensing
Committee, Waitomo District Council, Queen St, Te Kuiti.
Any person who is entitled to object and wishes to object to
the issue of the licence may, not later than 15 working days
after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice
in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District
Licensing Committee at Waitomo District Council, PO Box 404,
Te Kuiti 3941. No objection to the issue of a licence may be
made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in
section 105(1) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. No
objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation
to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the
Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

applications of interest for future trust board
members. In particular, we are looking for people
with the capacity to provide a strong governance
perspective with skills, knowledge and expe-
rience in areas including Te Reo Mäori, com-
munity development, and media or technology.
Prospective trustees will need to be available to
attend monthly weekday hui in Te Küiti.
